How do we request a Father's Cry Seminar?
You can contact us on our web site by clicking on the contacts link and submitting a request. We will be in contact with you on the first business day following your request.
What is the cost of the seminar?
We are reimbursed for any travel based on the cost of any airline tickets or the standard IRS reimbursement for auto travel, plus overnight lodging if applicable, meals, and a Love Offering at the end of the conference.
Are there any cost for books, hand-outs, etc?
Based on the type of seminar, there is a $25.00 charge for text books, student hand-outs, program curriculum outlines and power-point presentations are a part of the text fee per single individual or married couple who would share the material.
What is the curriculum used in your teaching?
Dave is certified by the National Center for Fathering in Kansas City, Kansas, as a Master Trainer. The name of the curriculum is “The 7 Secrets of Effective Fathering”, "Quenching the Father's Thirst and "Championship Fathering."
What is the schedule of your conference?
There are several formats for our seminars. First, we provide a 4 hour morning or afternoon seminar that is intense and more compact. There is less time for interaction between participants and speakers. Second, we provide an eight hour seminar that can be all day with a break for lunch or on a Friday evening with the seminar completing the following Saturday at noon. The second format is more popular because of the opportunity for questions, interaction of the audience and small group break-outs. Our international programs are customized due to the time involved in interpretation services. Speaking in general, an international course is 2-3 days followed by a minimum of 1 day for Instructor Training. Our international trips involve training fathering instructors and master-trainers for development of a national program. A master trainer is chosen by The Father's Cry to train men in their country to continue the program growth.
Who can attend your seminars?
The optimum audience is your men 18 and older to granddads. Men who are single, divorced, separated, or married represent the targeted audience. We do encourage wives to attend with their husbands.
Where do you provide seminars?
We have conducted seminars in Belarus, Kenya, Malawi, Nairobi, South Africa, Pakistan, and U.A.E. as well as throughout the United States. We teach in churches, hotels, community centers, and adult and youth prisons.
