A Father's Prayer

A Letter to Men:

I know there are many times that we as men fall and stumble in being a good dad or a good husband. Our hearts
desire it but our heads lead us down different paths that can cause harm not only to ourselves but to the very children we love the most. Sound familiar? Well, there are answers to this problem but it first starts with each of us "humbling ourselves to our Father". I encourage you to pray this prayer and render yourself to a new cause, a new focus and experience the healing of the Heavenly Father.

A PRAYER TO RECEIVE THE HEART OF A FATHER

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that
according to the riches of his glory He may grant you to be strengthened with his might through His Spirit in the inner man, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have power to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with the fullness of God. Now to Him who by the power at work within us is able to do far more abundantly than all we ask or think, to Him be the glory in the church and in Jesus to all generation, for ever and ever.
